What to expect after editing WhatsApp messages?

After you have edited the WhatsApp message:

• You will see the ‘Edited’ word next to the message. Only this word will be visible to everyone (sender and receiver), not the edit history.
• You can re-edit the message you have once edited. But this option is available only for 15 minutes after sending the message. WhatsApp also doesn’t show how many times you have edited your message.
• WhatsApp doesn’t send notifications for edited messages.
• You can’t edit media files that you have sent on WhatsApp. Only the delete functionality will be applicable here.
